Sawyer Camp Trail winds through protected watershed lands for six miles. From the Crystal Springs Reservoir to the San Andreas Lake, this paved path offers people a place to bike, rollerblade, walk dogs, and enjoy the open air. It’s an easy path to follow, and well suited for a weekend walk.

Families like to bring their children to the Sawyer Camp Trail on weekends. The trail is wide and flat making it easy for kids to ride their bikes or scooters while keeping up with their parents.

While this isn’t a hiking trail at all, you’ll get a glimpse of nature here. Song birds, ducks, and whitetail deer like to pass through. At certain points in the path you’ll find benches along the sides of the trail where you can enjoy a quick snack.

Take an Aerobics Class at Burlingame Aquatic Club This Summer

This summer you can get fit while having fun in the water. That’s because at the Burlingame Aquatic Club there’s a variety of aquatic fitness classes offered to adults and one of those is water aerobics.

At this aquatic club near our 888 San Mateo Apartments the class is called Energize Aerobics. You’ll use water weights, noodles, and bands for strength training, cardiovascular exercise, and toning. Each class is an hour long, and they take place Mondays and Wednesdays.

If you’re looking for something more intense, there’s Aqua Boot Camp. During that class you’ll do high intensity interval training to workout your whole body. This class takes place Tuesdays & Thursdays from 7 a.m. to 8 a.m. For any class, you don’t need to sign-up because there’s a $10 drop-in option. If you sign up ahead of time, it’s $8 per class.

Along with aquatic fitness classes there’s swim classes for adults, pick-up water polo games, and youth programs at this center. The Burlingame Aquatic Club is located at 1 Mangini Way.
