San Mateo Dive Shops for Underwater Recreation

Scuba Fusion, located at 1210 South El Camino Real in the Monaco Shopping Plaza, is open Tuesday through Sunday from noon to 7 pm.

This store offers a variety of scuba diving programs here such as learning how to scuba dive for beginners and brushing up on established scuba skills for intermediate divers. Scuba Fusion also offers many specialty courses like a dry suit class, a digital underwater photography class, a rescue diver course, and more.

Wallin’s Dive Center is located at West 20th Avenue and O’Farrell Street. This dive shop has a longstanding relationship with the community, having first opened its doors in 1967.

Locals can earn open water certification, take a refresher course, go to a free diving clinic, take a first aid and CPR course, explore a night diving class, and more. Local diving excursions and equipment repairs are also available.

Hours of operation are as follows: Tuesday and Thursday from 4:30 to 8 pm and Saturday from 10:30 am to 2 pm.
