San Mateo’s hosting a free Independence Day celebration at Central Park, located on East 5th and El Camino Real. July Fourth at Central Park will take place from noon to 4 pm.

The community event will feature activities for the whole family, including entertainment, music, and classic carnival games.

San Mateo offers a variety of other family-friendly events throughout July, too, including Family Fun Day at the Joinville Swim Center on July 16th and the Talent Spectacular at the King Community Center on July 26th.
