Here are a few canine cleaning tips to keep your pet in great shape.

• Brushing their coats and then cleaning both the ears and teeth before bathing removes surface dirt and debris from the fur, delicate ear canals and gums.
• Next, wet your pet down with lukewarm water from head to toe with the sprayer. Then apply shampoo to the head first, proceeding down the body and tail, massaging the shampoo into the fur as you go. Tackle the underside and legs last.
• Try to pick a warm day so drying your dog’s fur isn’t an issue, but do apply a conditioner and blow dry if your dog has a very long, thick coat.
• Finish off with another good brushing to give the coat extra shine.
